Role Overview:
We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our dedicated team. You will support the HR department in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations across our children’s care homes. You will have a passion for human resources and a keen interest in working within the care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Administrator, your duties will include:
– Assisting with employee processes such as hiring, recruiting, vetting candidates, and supporting interviews
– Compiling and organising employee records (e.g., holidays, sick pay) both physically and digitally
– Supporting HR-related training programs and workshops
– Writing and submitting reports on daily HR activities
– Coordinating meetings, including management-employee discussions and HR events
– Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest HR practices to improve workplace efficiency
– Supporting with note-taking, organising meetings, and liaising with the company’s legal representative
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
– Have experience working in HR within the care sector
– Be familiar with recruitment processes, including writing and posting job advertisements, conducting background checks, and assisting in interviews
– Have strong skills in HR software and systems, including Microsoft Office
– Have experience maintaining employee records and understanding payroll processing
– Be organised and have excellent communication skills
