Resicare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Training Officer to support our homes in maintaining the highest levels of regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in quality assurance and training, with a clear development pathway into more senior roles.

 

About the Role

In this foundational role within the Quality Assurance team, you’ll support audits and deliver essential training to new staff, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with the QA and Training Manager, you’ll help ensure Resicare homes meet the expectations of Ofsted and the Children’s Homes Regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine audits under the supervision of the QA and Training Manager, focusing on safeguarding, health & safety, and documentation compliance.
• Record findings accurately using our internal systems and contribute to follow-up actions.
• Deliver introductory training to staff on documentation, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Support incident reviews and assist with documentation and corrective actions in line with guidance.
• Participate in fact-finding investigations as delegated.
• Identify minor compliance concerns and work with staff to implement practical improvements.

Development and Progression

You’ll be supported to become an independent auditor within 6 months and to deliver training sessions across multiple homes.
