Clinically I work within the fields of trauma, attachment issues, mental health, learning disabilities, substance misuse, sexually harmful behaviours, etc.
Role: Within Resicare Alliance I have been responsible for developing and implementing the clinical model of practice pertaining to the therapeutic model of support, specialising in reunification which takes a combined approach of PACE, DDP, psychosocial intervention methods to promote a child’s development and identity whilst in placement. I work alongside the staff, local authority and family supporting the child, train them in the model and provide supervisory support in the implementation of the model used. When I’m working with the children, Cora my therapy dog assists.
