Job Description:

Resicare Alliance is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a new 3-bed home for children with mental health needs in Northampton. As the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the home, ensuring it operates in line with regulatory standards and provides a high-quality care service for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the home and its staff team to provide exceptional care and support for children with mental health needs.

Compliance: Ensure that the home complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements and Children Home Regulations.

Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated staff team to provide the best possible care for children.

Assessment and Planning: Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of care and support plans for each child, tailored to their individual needs.

Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home, including safeguarding practices.

Financial Management: Manage the budget for the home effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve the service provided to children and meet or exceed Resicare Alliance’s high standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Manager/Deputy in a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in residential childcare.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for working with children and young people.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
